Who I am

Brighter Day Record Shop is run by Joel, based in Loughton, Essex. If you have any questions about your information, email brighterdayvinyl@gmail.com or call 07455 680866.

What I collect

When you contact me through this website, WhatsApp, email or phone, I collect the details you give me: usually your name, phone number, email address, where your records are, and anything you tell me about your collection, including photos.

Why I use it

Only to reply to you about your records, arrange a visit and complete a purchase. I don't sell your details, share them for marketing or send you newsletters.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for up to 12 months and then delete them, unless we've done business together and I need a record of the purchase.

Who else handles it

This website runs on Squarespace, which stores form submissions on my behalf. Messages you send by WhatsApp or email are also handled by those services.

Cookies

This website uses the cookies Squarespace needs to run, and may use basic analytics to see how many people visit.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it or have it deleted at any time. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
